My Swiss Essay

For the past time, I was working on a essay about Switzerland. I tried as hard as I could finding information about the Swiss government. I had to answer questions  such as, " how does it work" and "What are the Swiss parties" and "what is your opinion." Here is a link  to go to the essay.  Make sure to spread the word about this post

Screen limit letter

Please click on this link to read my letter. When writing, the part that I found most challenging was the limit of time we had because I have slow typing skills. I hope to improve that in middle school. I am especially proud about how much I wrote and how much research I put into this essay. I feel hopeful that what I wrote was enough. My lett er was to all the inhabitants that live in England, Australia, and America. The letter was about the addiction of technology and how to prevent it. Hopefully, SOME people who are reading will help me spread the word about screen limits.

Passion Projects Reflection

Three weeks ago we started to make a passion project. For my Passion Project I decided to explain the world of pottery.  My guiding questions were:  1. How pottery and ceramics changed through time  2. How pottery plays roles in our daily lives  3. What are some skills and issues when making pottery. Some feed back that i received was, " very interesting" ( tons of those in fact) and "love how we got to interact". Others wrote that  " It was good" or  "I liked it "  Some interesting things i learned were that audiences needed interactions while I present. ( Chill.... the got an interaction and they loved it). During the preparation, I think that my strengths as a learner suddenly decreased for five minutes because I was not  prepared.  As well as not knowing what to say because I was a bit overwhelmed. All in all it went great! Bye!

HWEO Colour- Symbol- Image - Maths Reflection

Image
For my math reflection, I did a slug problem. Since a slug can only go half its path, I had to continue halving and halving. This problem was very challenging and I almost made it. I had to use a calculator once This is the colour that represents success, peace, and a flower petal that must have been part of the plant the slug ate.🌹 This is my symbol that represents the face of the human that insulted the slug *Sorry I can't upload the photo *  This is the image that represents how I felt when I was working on the maths project.

My art reflection

I love making pottery especially at art where there are so many possibilities. We were allowed to make a choice between a pinch pot or a coil pot or both. I absolutely loved our art session with Ms Richardson.
